Apparently, whoever is in charge of product photography at amazon.com decided that the New Nikon D300s should have an additional feature. You can now get an image preview on the LCD control panel. The photos are there to aid potential buyers decide what they want to get and its a disservice to photoshop the product to make look better.

This evening I received a rather disturbing email from google.
What’s disturbing about it is I clearly remember turing off the latitude reporting when I was exploring the app on my nexus one. Clearly, the product gods at google are not too concerned about people’s privacy. At last, they are sending an email telling me that I am getting violated.
I saw this ad while reading slashdot. When you are trying to recruit “Cyber Warriors”, make sure the stock photo you selected has a recent computer in the background.
1. CRT monitor: Not seen since 2002
2. Floppy Drives: Not seen since 2000
3. Desktop form factor: Not seen since 1996
At least they did not put a 120lb guy with glasses in front of that computer. Also, the term “Cyber Warrior” sounds so tacky.
