No Hand No problem
ATT wants all you people who don’t have hands to know that it’s not a problem. Idiots working in the marketing department.

Well, this is nothing new. Call centers are mostly run by incompitant people but dell is one step below; they are monkeys with bananas up their arses. I had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with dell home service. Recently I purchased a Dell Inspiron 1525 N (yes it runs linux) for a friend of mine. The ordering process was painless and the laptop arrived 5 days after I ordered. Well, I received it today. The laptop is a little flimsy. Couple of hours into configuring the system, I noticed that couple of keys were acting up. I would stike them, of course gently, but nothing would happen. Couple of times of doing that, the Key P and Fn6 just poped out of the keyboard. I know cost of materials, shippment and pretty much everything is hight but do you keep prices low by skimping on quality? I still remember the first dell I bought. It was January 2002 and I bought an Inspiron 4000. Well, my parents bought it for me. The quality of that was far better than the goat crap dell is producing.
Anyway, calling dell support to return this laptop took me more than 2.5 hours. Personally, I will never deal with Dell again. Dell Enterprise support is totaly different. Then again, you get what you pay for.

I am pissed off. I came across this an a campain posting by the FSF against apple. First off, I hate DRM and I have been burnt by it. Second, I love the Free Software Foundation. The core values, for which they stand for, are important to me.
Are we 5 years old? Well, I believe that’s the age of the idiot who thought of this campaign. I don’t have a problem with the message but the method we are using is juvenile. Its like a kid throwing a temper tantrum. The people who will get affected by this are apple customers. Nice way to recruit people: Piss them off. I am pretty sure RIAA and MPAA had really great success with this.
Disclaimer: I own a macbook and I donate monthly to FSF.
